Dear Friends of AM 1260 The Rock,
With sadness and hope, we announce to you the death of our dear friend
Nancy Burkardt on Sunday, October 23, 2022.
As the devoted wife of our co-founding Board member Leo Burkardt for
fifty years, Nancy was at Leo’s side—and ours—from the beginning of
this apostolate nine years ago this autumn. The character of AM 1260
The Rock was influenced in no small part by Nancy’s kindness and
fidelity over the years, and she, no less than any of us, will always be
counted among our co-founders.
Please join with us in mourning Nancy’s death, marking the end of her
pilgrimage here below and praying for her eternal joy before the throne of
the Lamb in the company of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Joseph and all
holy Angels and Saints, and for the consolation of Leo and their dear
family.
The Memorial Mass for Nancy will be offered at 11:00 a.m. on Monday,
October 31, 2022, at Saint John Neumann Church in Strongsville, Ohio.
