Witness Talks – Lenten Speaker Series

Witness talks will be presented as part of
the Lenten Speaker Series at 7 pm on the following Tuesdays after the 6:30 pm Mass. A social
follows each presentation.
Tues., Feb. 20 – Cleveland Diocesan Seminarian James Parisi, grandson of Queen of Heaven
parishioner Rose Marie Parisi, will give a witness talk about discernment of his priestly vocation.
James attended Archbishop Hoban High School, entered Borromeo Seminary, Cleveland, after
high school and attended John Carroll University while there. He is currently in his fourth year
of theology at Saint Mary Seminary, Cleveland. Along his journey to the priesthood, James will
be ordained a deacon on April 13, 2024 and hopes to be ordained to the priesthood in May 2025.
James is the son of Chris and Ed Parisi and has five siblings. St. Hilary Church, Akron is their
home church.
