St. Augustine Parish to feed the hungry on Easter

St. Augustine Hunger Center and Parish in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood (2486 W. 14th St.) will be providing a full Easter meal will all the trimmings to anyone in need of a meal and to anyone living alone who would enjoy sharing a meal with other people on Easter Sunday, April 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meals will be served at the three halls on the St. Augustine Parish campus. Meals are also available at different locations within the city of Cleveland. The parish expects to serve about 9,000 meals this Easter. Transportation will be available for individuals to and from the parish meal site, and meals will also be delivered to the homebound. This is the 45th year that St. Augustine Parish has organized holiday meals to serve the hungry.
The parish is in need of volunteer drivers for their Easter meal program. Those wishing to volunteer should call St. Augustine Parish at 216-781-5880 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Donations are also welcome.
In addition, those wishing to register for a meal and those needing transportation or a meal delivered to them should call St. Augustine Church at 216-781-5880 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
