Rededication of the Shrine of the Holy Innocents

The Shrine of the Holy Innocents is completed! Please join us as we rededicate this sacred space that honors the memory of the souls of all deceased children. Listen to how this unique shrine came into existence and how God’s mercy transformed broken hearts into powerful witnesses of faith. Participants will have an opportunity to walk through this sacred place of prayer and healing for parents and others who have been touched by the death of a child. The schedule includes Holy Mass, Confessions, Rosary for Life, and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. The Shrine of the Holy Innocents honors the memory of the souls of all children whose lives have been lost, and provides a sacred place of prayer and healing for parents and others who have been touched by the loss of a child.

Here is the schedule and other useful information:

11 a.m. Talks
11:45 a.m. Rededication and visit to the Shrine of the Holy Innocents
Noon Lunch (bring a bag lunch and picnic under the big tent)
1 p.m. Holy Hour
1:30 p.m. Rosary for Life
2 p.m. Holy Mass
3 p.m. Divine Mercy Chaplet, Benediction, blessing of religious
articles, blessing with a relic of St. Faustina.

Events will be at the Mother of Mercy Outdoor Shrine and will be open to all pilgrims. (Please bring sun protection and good walking shoes.)
