Nativity B. V. M. Parish 125th Anniversary Pilgrimage

As part of the celebrations of the 125^th anniversary of the founding of Nativity B. V. M. Parish, Lorain, we shall be making a pilgrimage to two beautiful and famous Northern Ohio Marian shrines—the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey and the Sorrowful Mother Shrine in Bellevue on Thursday, July 27.  There are only a few seats left and we would like to make sure that you can join us!  Details, the itinerary, and reservation form can be found on the parish website:  nativitybvmlorain.org or by calling 440-320-9984 or 440-225-5990.

Itinerary
8:15 Board motor coach at Nativity Church Parking Lot (next to the church on 14th Street)
8:30 Promptly leave for Carey
10:15 Arrive in Carey, use restrooms and visit gift shop
11:00 Holy Mass
11:45 Dinner [Creamy herb baked chicken breast and Beef tips, Tossed salad, Mashed potatoes,
House green beans, Dessert, and Beverages (coffee, tea, lemonade, and water)]
Visit gift shop
12:45 History and tour of the Upper and Lower Basilica
1:45 Devotions (Enrollment in the Confraternity of Our Lady, Rosary, Exposition of the
Blessed Sacrament, Scripture and Homily, Benediction, Prayers for Healing,
Individual prayers with pilgrims with the Relic of the True Cross)
3:00 Visit Shrine Park with outdoor altar, stations, and outdoor shrines
3:30 Depart for Bellevue
4:30 Arrive at Sorrowful Mother Shrine to visit historic chapel, outdoor shrines and stations
5:30 Depart for Lorain
6:30 Arrive at Nativity Church
The cost is $50.00/person and includes the dinner. The motor coach seating is limited to 56 people.
