MIGNARDA Ensemble: Spanish Renaissance music for voices & lutes

Duo Mignarda, (Donna Stewart & Ron Andrico), joined by the Chicago based EnsAmble Ad-Hoc, (Francy Acosta and José Luis Posada), and baritone, José Gotera will perform Spanish renaisssance motets featuring voices and lutes. Featured works will be four settings of the Marian antiphon Regina Cæli Lætare by Spanish composers: Guerrero, Morales, and Victoria. In addition to a cappella polyphony, the sublime sound of lutes will feature prominently in the program. FREE
