First Friday Devotion at Church of the Assumption

How would you like to start the new year off right by consoling the Sacred Heart of Jesus?
Starting Friday, January 6th at Church of the Assumption in Broadview Heights, there will be an opportunity to venerate & console the Sacred Heart of Jesus as they begin the first Fridays of the month Devotion.
Immediately after the 8:30 A.M. morning Mass, Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed in the church for adoration until 3:00 P.M.
Fr. Justin will lead us in praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy at at 3:00 P.M. & will conclude with benediction.
Jesus appeared to St. Margaret Mary in 1675 and promised her that, whoever will honor His Sacred Heart by receiving Holy Communion in the state of grace on 9 consecutive first Fridays, would receive the 12 great promises! This was the first devotion given by Jesus Himself. Jesus promised: “especially at the hour of death; they will not die in My disgrace, nor die without receiving their sacraments. My Divine Heart will be their safe refuge in that last moment.”
With the first Friday devotion, the Chruch also grants a plenary indulgence for each first Friday observed.
