The First Friday Club of Greater Akron is happy to announce that
Our speaker on September 1, 2023 will be Maureen O’Connor, former Chief Justice Ohio Supreme Court.
Maureen O’Connor is the former Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court
Prior to serving Chief Justice, Justice O’Connor served as an associate justice of the Ohio Supreme Court and as the 61st lieutenant governor of Ohio, serving under Governor Bob Taft. Prior to that she served as Summit County Prosecutor from 1995 to 1999.
