Cleveland Mass Mob

May 20, 2018 @ 9:00 am

Cleveland Mass Mob visits and invites Catholics and Non-Catholics to an urban historical church for a celebration of Mass.

The Mass Mob concept started in Buffalo on All Souls Day in 2013 and then spread to other metropolitan areas throughout the United States basically in the Rust Belt States.  In March of 2013 the first Cleveland Mass Mob took place and the social movement continues.  This invitation not only introduces one to a beautiful historic church but in some cases has brought individuals back to their faith.  It has spread knowledge and understanding of the ethnic groups who built these churches surrounding their neighborhoods.

This is Mass Mob XXVII and you will get an opportunity to experience this magnificent structure. The parish was founded in 1898 founded by Czechs and is celebrating the 100th anniversary of this church building. The interior is colorful and richly furnished with sacred art.  The church is  laid out in the cruciform pattern and can be described as Romanesque. In 2003 the interior was restored and remodeled.

The church is located at East 50th and Fleet next to the I-77 Exit.

You are invited to this Eucharistic Celebration.
