Cleveland Diocesan World Apostolate of Fatima

For the third year in a row the Cleveland Diocesan World Apostolate of Fatima is coming to St. Casimir Church for the next two weeks.
The World Apostolate of Fatima is dedicated to help people learn, live and spread the Message of Our Lady of Fatima.
The Cleveland Division has a Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of Fatima obtained in 1981 from Fatima Portugal. And in 1981 Pope John Paul II made an pilgrimage to Fatima to give thanks for his survival from the assignation attempt and saw and blessed this image of Our Lady himself.
The following are the dates and times of the Masses at St, Casimir during the visitation of the Pilgrim Fatima Statue and Devotion. Friday, August 14th 7:00 PM , Sunday August 16th 11:30 AM and Sunday August 23rd 11:30 AM

Commemoration 100th Anniversary of the ” Miracle on the Vistula”. This August, one of the most important battles of the 20th century was fought between August 12th and August 25th in 1920. The Battle of Warsaw took place which stopped the Soviet Armies from spreading communism to the entire European Continent. The Polish Armies greatly outnumbered, defeated the superior Soviet Forces. The day after the Feast of Assumption, August 16th, the attacking Soviets were routed.
This Battle of Warsaw is also known as the “Miracle on the Vistula” and thanks is given every year in Polish American Parishes.
St. Casimir is located at 8223 Sowinski Avenue, adjacent to Rockefeller Park’s MLK Blvd.
