CARDINAL RIGALI MASS

His Eminence, Cardinal Justin Rigali, will be the Celebrant for the Mass of Thanksgiving for the closing of the 800th Mercedarian Jubilee next Sunday, January 13th at the Twelve Noon Mass.  Cardinal Rigali will be joined by other Bishops from Philadelphia, Buffalo and Cleveland for this Solemn Pontifical Mass.  Following the Mass a reception of heavy finger foods will be served in the Parish Hall and Gattuso Gym.  The last time a Cardinal visited St. Rocco’s was in 1968 when the Order celebrated the 750th Anniversary of its Foundation.  It will be A Solemn Pontifical Mass in The Ordinary Form, and the Choir & Ensemble will be playing and singing ” Messe Solenelle, By Jean Langlais”.
