This St. Monica icon was written by a retired priest of the Allentown Diocese in Pennsylvania. The icon was blessed and anointed at the close of the St. Monica Ministry Holy Hour held on March 8. The icon will be displayed for prayer and veneration at each of the monthly Holy Hours. The words on the scroll are those of St. Monica, assuring the faithful that all remain in God’s sight and under his care. The expression on this image of St. Monica reflects her serene confidence that her husband and son will return to the faith.
