3. What was your home parish? Immaculate Conception Church, Madison, OH

4. Who is your favorite saint and why? I offer a short litany of saints prior to the celebration of Mass. Holy Mary, Mother of the Church. St. Joseph, Terror of Demons and Mirror of Patience. St. John the Evangelist. St. John the Evangelist (our diocesan patron). St. Ignatius of Antioch (my parish patron).

5. What is the last good book you read/are reading? Forming Fathers: Seminary Wisdom for Every Priest

6. What do you like to do on your day off? Share a meal with priest friends, nature walk, golf, go to the movies

7. What’s something we don’t know about you? I lived and studied in Rome my final semester of college seminary, and got to sing in the Angelicum choir for a cardinal taking possession of his titular church. I also learned how to celebrate Mass using the 1962 missal during the COVID pandemic and began offering the TLM at my parish.

8. What is your favorite devotion? Angelus

9. What is your favorite season and why? Fall. The colors, smells, and temperature.

12. What career would you choose if you were not a priest? Archaeology

13. With which Apostle or Saint do you most closely identify and why? St. Paul

14. What is the richest blessing of your priesthood to date? Seeing faith, hope, and charity deepen in the people I serve.

15. Anything else you would like us to know? I am involved in a number of apostolates that would appreciate your prayers and support: Legion of Mary, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Courage & Encourage, Knights of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem.
