Incarnate Word Academy, is hosting an Oktoberfest event on Saturday, October 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. outside on the school grounds. We will be serving up German favorites catered by Der Braumeister restaurant in Cleveland and brews provided by Schnitz Ale Brewery. It’s going to be a great time!
This event is a fundraiser to support our new school Library and Writing Lab that we will be relocating within our building. Our current library is a traditional library with simple shelves and tables, and with the funds raised from this event, we will be able to expand the size, purchase new and more comfortable seating arrangements for our preschool and primary level students, install artwork, a mural, and more. Our goal is to create a space that will transition along with the student, with the preschool area at one end and the Writing Lab at the other.
IWA serves nearly 350 students and over 250 families in preschool to Grade 8, hailing from over 20 communities in Northeast Ohio.
