“Minimize the Mountain (to Manage the Hill)”

October 11, 2017 @ 7:00 pm

St. Francis Xavier Parish in Medina will host nationally recognized professional speaker Rob Snow, who will present “Minimize the Mountain (to Manage the Hill),” a humorous, powerful and motivational show about managing through life’s biggest challenges. Rob, who is a St. Francis Xavier parishioner, husband and father of two sons, including one with Down syndrome, uses his background in stand-up comedy and several life-changing events to offer seven steps to “minimizing your mountains” to help others come out stronger on the other side. As founders of Stand Up for Downs, Rob and his wife, Ellen, have become national leaders in the effort to educate others about the blessing of people with Down syndrome, and raise money for research and family support, and they present frequently at national and international conferences.

Rob’s talk, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, inside St. Francis Xavier Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina, is sponsored by the parish Respect Life Ministry and will be followed by a reception, Respect Life information fair and book signing in the lower church hall. Tickets are not required, and admission is free. All are welcome, and the material is appropriate for all ages.
