JULY 4TH Mass to be Celebrated by Bishop Lennon
(Bishop Richard Lennon to pray and preach on First Amendment right of Freedom of Religion and the current threats posed by the federal govt.)
10:00 a.m…Monday…4th of July… St. John Cathedral in Downtown Cleveland
During the Mass which closes the “Fortnight for Freedom,” Cleveland Catholic Bishop Richard Lennon will address the ongoing threat by the federal government to restrict our basic First Amendment right of freedom of religion.
Non-profits and other religiously affiliated organization such as hospitals, schools, and charities remain under the HHS contraception mandate.
The “Fortnight for Freedom” was established by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops to encourage Catholics nationwide to participate in two weeks leading up to the 4th of July with strong focus on prayer, education, and reflection on our first freedom; Freedom of Religion.
