Guided Tours and Bethlehem Market Experience

Guided tours of the Bethlehem Cave and Nativity Museum will be offered at Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church, 2425 Myersville Rd., Akron, at 10:00 AM on Dec. 7. Come see a replica of the cave where Jesus was born as it appears in Bethlehem. Over 400 Nativity sets are on display. Included with the tour is the unique experience of the Bethlehem Market, where attendees will visit stalls in which costumed shopkeepers provide a hands-on experience of the Holy Land of Jesus: grind herbs, weave a mat, and make an oil lamp.  There is also a life-size manger scene and costumes for taking pictures as part of the Nativity scene.
