Advent Evening of Reflection

Are the overwhelming influences of the secular world overshadowing this important liturgical season of Advent? Are we preparing our spirit for this season as much as we prepare our homes and our menus? Reverend Andrew Morkunas, Chaplain for University Hospitals, will lead us in a discussion of the solemnity of the season. Advent, as the church teaches, is a ‘Little Lent’, a time of preparation for when “Christ will come again.” We as church need to prepare our hearts for that reality.
