St. Mary Byzantine Church Great Feast Opening Prayer Event

As we begin The Great Fast (Lent) come to St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church for an evening of crafts and contemplation for our youth.
Join youth, ages 12-17, from the area to learn to how to make a Chotki Prayer bracelet. We will then learn how to use the Chotki to pray the Jesus Prayer. Please email smbevents@ameritech.net, or call the rectory at (216) 741-7979 by February 25. All materials will be provided. Parents are welcome but not required. Lite refreshments with be served. We will get started on the bracelets in this session. After The Great Fast we will meet again to put the finishing touches on them and see how the Jesus Prayer affected our experience of the Great Fast. The church is located at 4600 State Rd, Cleveland Oh 44109 . The event will be in the basement on Tuesday, February 28 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
