Pet Blessing in honor of St. Francis of Assisi

A “Blessing of Pets” will be held at St. Joseph Church, 8111 Brecksville Road, on Saturday, October 7th at 10:00 A.M. Please gather with your pets at the front entrance of the church for this special blessing of pets, in observance of the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of Animals. A freewill offering will be collected to benefit: Lake Erie Labrador Retriever Rescue and the Parma Animal Shelter, which are independent organizations made up of a group of volunteers who are dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of homeless animals.
